Many of these paintings merge my love for botany and fine art, studying a handful of the many plant varieties that I am particularly drawn to. Often, a painting will be inspired by a wedding floral color palette or the tones of a bouquet, as in Gwen’s Bouquet, for example.

These paintings are essentially color studies, landing in a place of completion once they have found their balance of composition and texture.
